Is a glorious thing, don't you think? Well people, I finally did it, I mean got it! My Canon 40D SLR that is. Although I must admit that I went against what I said I would never do, which was shop at Circuit City (BLAH) I did, and because I did I received a FREE Epson Ultra HD Photo printer, scrapbook, $100.00 rebate, SLR for dummies book and online training by firedog. Total purchase (GULP) was $1,700.00. I have NEVER, EVER spent that much money on myself and had Brian not been there to hold my hand and push me, I probably would have never ever done it! I did manage to raise $925.00 myself and then by the blessing of the good lord, we came home to a nice insurance refund of $625.00. I am only sharing this story of money because it truly is a blessing. I have waited and wanted a camera like this for a long time. It is a passion, a meaning, a purpose for me. I am excited to get acquainted with my Canon and to start sharing my passion with you all. I will be in the market for lots of practice, so keep that in mind if you are near! ;)

Wholly Canola Oil! You did it, I can't believe it. Why you have a hard time spending money on yourself is ridiculous, you deserve this wonderful gift! I can't wait to see what you can do now. Very proud and happy for you.
