Cactus Canyon Bible School has come to an end as of last night. It truly was a bitter-sweet night. This past week has been a little nuts with the hours, but like the pastor preached last night (which was mandatory for parents to stay) everyone is tired by 6:30, even the kids, but God is the reason to persevere and get going. Jesus loved children and therefore it is very important to teach them about Jesus the ABC's of Jesus that is. A-Admit to God you are a sinner, B- Believe that Jesus Christ is God's son, and C- Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as savior and lord.
I suppose yesterday that is why it was laid upon the table of my heart that motherhood is making sacrifices because trust me, I just wanted to crash once Brian walked through the door! Instead, he took Leelyn to the grocery store to pick up some much needed items, while Blaine and I went to his last night of Cactus Canyon. We sang songs, prayed and watched a slide show of the past weeks learning's and I was touched and moved deeply. Watching Blaine sing the songs along with actually doing the sign language was amazing. We didn't stay for the refreshments but opted for McDonald's to make up for not staying - Blaine was pretty upset but I was pretty tired! McDonald's cheered him up really fast! Did I mention this is where Blaine went to preschool? It was nice to see Mrs. Joy again!
Well, I suppose it is time for summer camp now. Blaine is enjoying very, very much getting out and doing things more now then ever! I am just trying to keep up! HA!
So long Cactus Canyon - it was fun!
