Happy anniversary and I am going to be a great aunt!

Today marks mine and Brian's 6 yr. anniversary. Even though we have been together 16 years technically ;-) Happy 16 babe!
I learned within the past few days that I am going to be a great aunt. I am so excited and I can't wait to experience this new journey the lord is taking our family on. I love you Chelsea and we support you 100%. We hope all is well with you and yours.

A fascinating story

I just want to take a moment to share this beautiful, amazing, heart wrenching story. Brian came home the other day and was shaking literally. I asked him what was up and he told me the craziest story. Not often does this happen to people I know. He had a customer that walked up to one of his team members grabbing her throat, unable to speak. The TM assumed that she was choking and wasn't sure what to do, so walked her over to another TM, who I will call MD his initials. MD dropped everything and went right into action, grabbing this very tall lady, luckily he is over 6ft so that worked well because I think she is well over 5'9. He immediately began the Heimlich on her. Word is he pumped her 35 times at least. By this time, Brian has made his way over there. They ended up laying this lady on her side, stretched out to clear her airway when she began to finally gasp for air.

While MD was pumping her, she was completely blue, stiff and then he said that he felt her 'slip away' physically and emotionally. My eyes are just filled with tears as I type this. He told Brian that after they wheeled her out in the ambulance. She fell over @ that moment he said that she was 'leaving this world' and hit her head.

She lived. She is okay. Brian spoke with her today. MD saved this ladies life. Years back he was in the Navy and lost someone that was chocking, he couldn't save them, he tried. This lady is of strong catholic faith, and told Brian that she believed she left this world shortly, and now she has her guardian angel, her life saver.

I am touched by this story, deeply. They are meeting, the four of them (her DH) this week. Thank you Jesus.

Fun night/ fun weekend

Brian had both Saturday and Sunday off this weekend, woohoo! We managed to get a lot done inside and out. We also had a fun night out with friends - it was one of my gf's birthday. That was a fun night, I have never been to a Jap. Steakhouse - good entertainment. I had a photoshoot that went wrong in every single way. Her DC just did not want his picture taken what so ever, so I missed out taking Blaine to one of his friends bday parties pretty much for no reason (bummed) because I didn't get one shot where he wasn't screaming @ the top of his lungs. Anyhoo, here are some pics. from our night out with friends. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Halloween

We LOVE Halloween in this house! The smell in the air, pumpkin's, changing leaves, and most importantly, dressing up and getting candy! If you have ever seen our house, we go all out, smoke machine and strobe light included - kids love to come to our house!

I think we have finalized our costumes!

Busy times

It seems like our days are just filling up and busting @ the seams lately. The boys are great! Blaine and Leelyn are playing so well together, it is amazing really. We have been getting out a lot more, the weather has been FAB and we like to just get out and drive to new parts of town. Soccer has been random - weather, illness, and canceled for Manchester days so back on track Saturday hopefully. MOPS started and I love it. We have our social next week and I am excited. I have a maternity shoot lined up and I am totally consumed with my photography these days. I am getting a lot more comfy with my camera. I can't help that my boys are so freakin' ADORABLE either! My calendar is filling up with shoots which is fine by me - more practice under my belt! Here is a shoot of the fam I did over the weekend. I will post my dirty lil secret/confession soon! Enjoy

BBQ, beer and food

equals a great time! The BBQ team build was a hit, and sorry no pics of the end of the night glow party, I was to lazy to grab the camera......(smirk)

Best pie ever, fruit tart.
Now that is a keg! The best food money can buy, Whole Foods Market! Blaine loves it!

Little mans 6 month checkup

16.5 pounds, 25 inches....gosh. Four shots, I protest! Doc was very impressed with his sitting skills and he is officially 3 weeks ahead of Blaine with the sitting. He is in the 45%, Blaine was always in the 95% maybe that is why...just saying! Teething bad, no teeth just yet. Says mamaaa, dadaaaa (you know) and he is scootin' still. On meats as of this week.
We are having about 17 here for a huge BBQ for Brian's team members tomorrow - that will be interesting and fun. I will be dl some pics. of a photo shoot I did for a gf and her DD yesterday on my photo blog.

Hope everyone is doing well. xoxo

one of those rainy days

I love the rain, but not for 3 days straight! I decided to drag my kids to the mall today, I could no longer take it! Teething, crying, snot nose kids inside for 3 days is enough to drive anyone nuts-o! ha ha

So I strap my screaming 6 month old in his car seat, wiggles and all while Blaine is repeating "Leelyn stop crying" "Leelyn is a cry baby" UGH! I get out to my car only to notice that the base of Leelyns car seat is NOT in the car thanks to daddy who loaded his mountain bike in it the other day to go for a ride on some trails and failed to put it back, UGH! Have I mentioned it is raining and Leeln is still screaming! UGH!

I finally get us loaded, nice and wet and hair a frizzy mess after spending 25 mins on it, UGH! I turn the key and my car doesn't start!!!! Tried again, nothing.....one more try, ta-da it started. That was scary!

Anyhoo, I hit some great sales and got some cute shots. Enjoy!
