BUMBO rocks, not so much!?!

Okay, I realize that Leelyn is about a month early of the age that the Bumbo requires him to be, but this little man is a mover and shaker! Get this, he is already scooting on his back and forget about even thinking that you don't have to strap him into anything, he WILL get/fall out!

Brian and I feel like he gets aggravated (a three month old?) yes when he can't just get where he wants to be -which is usually in someones arms. Anyway, I purchased the bumbo seat today on sale at Target for $32.00 and the tray was an additional $9.99 in case you are interested. I was so excited to get it home and put him in it. For the first five minutes he loved it, smiles and giggles I thought, ALRIGHT, WOO-HOO I will actually be able to get some things done! That was short lived, here he is again on the verge of meltdown city that I wasn't able to catch because yet again the batteries in my camera died. I really need that new camera, ha!
I was LOL because his feet look so cute in it! The entire time Blaine was chanting "Leelyn's in the bumbo, Leelyn's in the bumbo, ha ha ha ha".

We will keep trying the bumbo, and we brought up the intelletainer Blaine used for him as well. My laundry is piling up and my house is a mess because I just hate to let him cry and trust me, he does not stop crying! I have let him cry for 30 mins. once and never again! The little munchkin won't nap unless I am either holding him or lying right next to him so that we are touching. This typing one handed is getting to be a piece of cake!

Blaine starts vacation bible school tonight which means I am making the hubby take me out to dinner, what a weekend!

OMG - how cute is he! I wish I had some advice for the needy baby, but I don't. Hang in there and hopefully in another month he will be able to keep hiself happy for a bit.

love the bumbo. we still squeeze miss raina's not-so-thin thighs into it so she can join us for dinner at our level. actually, last night...we couldn't get her legs into it, so she was sort of sitting on top of it. time to get out the high chair.
enjoy dinner.

Maybe the little prince will like it better as he gets older. Katarins wasn't too fond of it at first either, but now she likes a lot more and it is a great substitute for a highchair, until like your friend said above they get too big - which I'm sure Katarina's chunky monkey legs will be there not too far off from now!!LOL!
