I want to first thank everyone for the prayer request emails and blog comments. Thank you, my family appreciates it as does my girlfriends.
Unfortunately some of my fathers test results came back and showed a high PSA (prostate levels) and is being referred to a urinary specialist. Most of the time this isn't good. His father had prostate cancer and died from it and his brother had to have his removed. So please please please lift him up in your prayers.

So sorry to hear about your dad. I know exactly how you are feeling. My dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer 4 years ago. At first they thought the high PSA levels were some form of infection, so they treated him with several rounds of antibiotics, but realized it was cancer. He had a Radical Prostectomy and doing really well. He had the surgery coming up on 4 years this April. He too, had 2 brothers die of it.If they can catch it soon enough it is almost 100% curable. My dad did not have to have any other treatment, but will say the surgery was invasive and took a long while to recover from. We will be praying for him and you as well. Take care and keep us posted. Thanks ladies. Brandy- yes we are praying that we caught whatever it is in time. His brother had his removed and it took a good six weeks for him to recover. He has his eye appointment that same day- he is having cataracts removed from both eyes, poor ol' dad
