Brian and I have struggled with our garage door for about 2 years now. First, the battery in his remote went out, then we left the other remote in a loaner car which no one ever turned in, third the battery on the key pad just died! I seem to have bad luck with batteries dying on me! That darn door never closes all the way either - I have to stand there and pull it as it "automatically" closes itself - uh huh! The strip on the bottom is decaying fast too. As Megan would say *Note to self, purchase new garage door ASAP! Ours is 21 years old, time for a new one!
I recently decided I was dunzo with mulching! For five pain staking years Brian and I have gone to Lowe's, loaded up the car with about 30 bags of mulch and nearly broke our backs mulching our landscape! NO MORE! I am so over the mulching that I made 3 trips to Home Depot where I purchased 25 bags per trip with both kids of rocks for a nice rock garden! Bye-bye mulch!
The poor 19 year old that helped me all three trips, well I could see the annoyed look on his face as I would come walking up, car seat in one arm, Blaine in the other flip-flops flip-floppin' away, LOL I told him he wouldn't need to hit the gym after I was done with him!We just might get to planting the rest of the vincas within the week, HA! Time is precious around here, these two adorable boys use us until we are on E - E for EMPTY! Life with two sure is different to say the least.
I seem to catch the home improvement bug in the late spring, I think I annoy Brian more then anything, lol
Blaine had
a blast at vacation bible school last night. I was kind of worried because it is from 6:30-8:45 and 8:45 is his bed time but no worries, he was fine and in bed by 9:15 with no problems! Good thing it only lasts a week. We got to catch the end of it, and they were learning a song with sign language, fantastic! That's all folks!

your rocks, rock. good work out of you. same here with garage door troubles. one is about the crash dead and the other doesn't work at all.
First, beautiful house you have there- all the trees surrounding your house are very nice to. Second, I also get that same bug in the spring, it is because you can actually get out and about and enjoy the weather. Third, those boys sure are adorable.
