Mothers Day Lunch

Today was an emotional day for me. It was my very first mothers day lunch with my beautiful son Blaine at his school.

This household is suffering from serious allergies which I have suffered from since moving to the Lou, so the day started out very slow and I was very tired. Even though little Leelyn only wakes up once to eat, I still have to get up another time to pump. I knew that I had to get it together because I did not want to miss out on this special occasion. I really really wanted to crawl back in to bed. After a couple cups of coffee, off we went.
I wanted to surprise him with his favorite, which is probably every child's favorite and first choice to eat for lunch.

Needless to say, he was very happy with what I brought to eat - as you can see.

Much to my surprise he had many mothers day gifts waiting for me, and let me preface here and say my hormones are still out of whack! The eyes were filling up with tears more so than usual!
My Blainers, he is such a happy handsome little man! Thank you Blaine for making mommy feel all better!

Gotta love our boys!! So glad you had a wonderful Mom's day at school too! Have to also give credit to those teachers who obviously work so hard to make us feel special!

What a great and best mothers day gift, and it sure helps when your son is as cute as Blaine. I love the flower. You are so blessed.
