Take my breath away!

Five fact Friday (a day early)

Perhaps I will get this on the day one Friday, lol I am shipping out soon tho.

1. I had a blast with Blaine on his special day. We ate sugar all day. We laughed. We hugged. We laughed. We hugged. We laughed. We ate sugar. We took pics. It was NOT LAME! (Blaine has picked up the word lame from school) I got him Spike the dinosaur (pic above) and I can't wait to give it to him  because he thinks santa 'might' bring it to him for xmas, ha ha! I just hope Leelyn is okay- he is scared of it when we go to the store and see it. I think that might be why Blaine wanted it so bad, LOL
He also received a ton of Wii and nintendo games from family and friends so the kiddo should be very happy and contained for a while.

2. I have been having these horrible headaches- they come on fast and strong. They make my neck and jaw hurt so bad- I seriously just lay in bed for hours.....every medicine OTC and prescription I have taken even touches it or dulls the pain a little. I was thinking sinus but IDK- they are kinda scary!

3. Preparing for winter! Tanning beds and wine! LOL If you know me, you know I HATE the cold. I can't stand it! C'mon I grew up in Houston for goodness sake. My bones hurt, I just was to sleep through the winters! I dread them. I try to enjoy them and remain positive but.........UGH- not working. I need heat and sunshine people.

4. I plan on organizing my photos- sending them off to print and start scrappin' this winter! This will be my 'me' time. I feel bad, Leelyn's birth book isn't even done. I have hundreds of dollars in scrappin' stuff not being used.....I really miss hangin' out and doing this. Photography has taken over my life---really it isn't a good thing, I have not been responsible in certain areas of my life, and I kinda forgot why I loved it to begin with. LOL
 BACK TO BASICS-

5. I have really felt so blessed to be able to stay home with my boys, esp. now that they are both out of the house on Friday's! ;-) *snork
My day is coming, all this hard work and dedication will pay off soon. They grow fast and I am so thankful that I don't miss a minute of it. That is the best benefit of staying home- to be the main and most impt. influence in thier life and to be able to witness thier firsts! I want to be the one that is there for them always! I love you boys!

PART 2

Happy 5th Birthday my sweet sweet Blaine!

I can't believe that at 12:43am tonight I gave birth to a 7.6oz, 21inch blue eyed adorable little baby boy, named Blaine! (after 28 pain staking hours of hard labor, only 4 of which were pain free thanks to the epidural) ha!

I will never forget the moment I touched him, held him so close to feel his sweet breath on my cheek. In that moment, life as I knew it changed. Everything I thought I knew- I didn't! I could type this long heart felt touching story, but the bottom line is Blaine forever changed me. I never knew this kind of love exsisted. I thank God for allowing me to be his mother. I thank God for blessing me with him.

Blaine- thank you for teaching me so much about life, for teaching me to remember what life is about. Thank you for being silly with your silly mama!

I hope y'all enjoy the photos (all are point and shoot, lol)  From learning to ride his bike, to exploring flowers, touching his first fish and holding his baby brother.......my cup runneth over!

Let's face it, kids are fast! I have to be fast with camera in hand with my two boys especially. Anyhoo, Leelyn woke up from his nap, Blaine went in there and I was at the computer where my camera is and I can see straight in Leelyn's room. He was still in his crib, Blaine and him were playing so I grabbed my camera and I actually got THIS:

What is the big deal, right?! Well I have really been working hard on capturing children esp. in their true essence. No coaching or directing. As a photographer, I have always strived for this and I lost touch with that along the way. But God is tapping me on my shoulder and reminding me where my love for ohotography came from. Anyhoo, here are a couple more. If you notice, my boys are very loving toward one another for the most part. We have our fights, but there is more love.

5 fact Friday (late again)!

I know- I have been swamped! Here goes:

1. I finally got my butt out and went fall/winter shopping. I have nothing! Either my clothes are to small or they are falling off of me. So I broke down and bought things that were a little tight, I plan on losing this last 18 pds! So I figure by the end of this month I hope to fit just right in everything I bought! I bought everything but winter boots....shoes are a day of shopping in itself.

2. I have been pondering Blaines 5 yr old photo shoot! I got nothing! LOL I really enjoyed the skater boy photo shoot I did last year because that was so him, this year he is into video games...blah! I hope to have some idea soon. I am a weird-o about getting their pics done right on the date.

3. I have felt a little beat down and torn this week. It is amazing what people's actions and statements can do to you. I thank God though for giving me the wisdom to know when to cut ties towards those that hurt you (finally). Better to do that then to let things get messy. Remember what is important for you in your life. I am a believer in trying hard not to let others bring you down, treat others with respect and the way you want to be treated. Once, twice but not three times. I don't have the energy or time for drama. I avoid it at all cost these days. ;-)

4. I did a couple of FUN photo shoots this past week. I love what I do, truly. It will be hard to slow things down after the holiday, but it is a must for my boys. I hope to get back on top of my motherly duties to say the least. Again, Blaine LOVES school and I am so thankful. We had another rough day with Leelyn but they said he was fine after I left. It is amazing the things they learn. Thankful I am blessed to be able to have them at this school.

5. So I have decided to plan a nice winter vacation somewhere super warm. This house has been crazy nuts and there was no summer vacation like I originally planned- schedules did not permit. It is on this winter.....Turks and Cacios (sp?) idk but the beach and sand is in the plan! Bring it on!!! I am already feeling depressed about the cold winter months ahead...BOOO BOOOO I HATE winter!
