We are enjoying our visit here in the bluegrass state. Hopefully I will meet up with you Audrey especially since I missed you megan, I would have LOVED to have seen Raina! This single parent thing is tiresome.

Off to eat some chicken and dumplings. I hope to catch a beautiful sunset this evening, the sunrise was spectacular.

Being sick sux

I can't believe how sick I have been! Pink eye in both eyes to the point that my face is swollen and my doctor said it was one of the worst cases she'd seen. To top that off I came down with strep throat and I haven't had that since highschool THANK GOD because I am miserable. I haven't had a bite of food in three days pretty much.
I missed girls nite out whaaaa!

I have a fever of 103-104 on and off. Brian missed two days of work. I have a billion trillion things I need to do but can't because I am so stinkin' ill. I hate being at home 24/7 for days. I just want to feel BETTER!

A day at the beach

Many remember Ike. The destruction we witness was horrible, six months later. We still made a great day of it. We visited the oldest sailboat Elissa in the world which still sails, had lunch right on the water and most importantly the kids had a blast. Enjoy

Bonding over tatts

Let's face it, it isn't every day that I get to hang with my bestest friends and have a good ol' time. The last couple days of vacation was miserable for me. I became pretty ill with pink eye and strep and I am still dealing with it. This was one of my better days for sure!

One year pics.

I finally got some one year pics of little man. Snott nosed and all! I had to post some of them for the grandparents.
Poor little man went back to the doctor AGAIN after the 'pink eye'. He woke up with a fever the next day, and both eyes were glued shut from green crud, to the point that I just put him in the shower, it was that bad. So our Ped. said that if he gets sick within the month after this round of antibiotics, we will need to see a specialist to check his immune system. STORY OF MY LIFE- sickness! Poor guy.
