I was contacted by an old middle school friend on my recent trip to Tx. It was so nice to see her and her two adorable boys! It was a very foggy morning---but their smiles brightened up the day.

5 fact Friday/secret and confession time

1. I leave in 5 days to Tx. Pray for safe flights....supposed to snow on the day we leave. Thanks.

2. I booked 4 shoots, I went back and forth as I was looking forward to my time off from 'work' but I am a giver and I admit -I can't wait to do the shoots for my friends.

3. I am officially all caught up for the '09 holiday season. Just waiting on one final order, well that is until I get back into town and then I have 4 sessions to edit. But I plan on taking Jan. off....no shoots. I need to regroup and work on some business stuff....details details details!

4. I put a little black dress I bought 4 years ago on yesterday and it fit! SO EXCITING! I am totally wearing it to the Weeds Silver and Ice 2010 NYE party!

5. I can't stop eating chocolate this week.....hmmmm

Secret/confession
It is the 19th and I have not purchased one Christmas gift! NOT ONE PEOPLE! Talk about procrastinating!

Prayers for Tyler and his family

You might remember me posting about 9 year old Tyler, my stepmoms nephew. He complained of a headache and it turned out to be a cancerous tumor on his brain steam.

He will not make it to Christmas, the family will be celebrating Christmas tomorrow. Please pray for him and his family.

I am struggling with the words right now, I find purpose hard with illness like this in a young tender little boy. It breaks my heart.

Please pray- think warm thoughts in this time.

My cup runneth over lastnight at his program! He was the most adorable wiseman EVER! He is getting so big! Sassiness and all! The program was a success, even little Leelyn was a trooper. Happy Birthday Jesus, I am so happy it's Christmas!

5 fact friday- secret confession

late, surprised?

1. I have continued with my 365 project.....ugh I am on like 247 self portraits. This project has taken the back seat many times, but I must complete it!

2. My car needs two front tires.....which will cost $700.00 for TWO! I am so bummed- but thankful they are run flats.

3. I totally slacked on my own cards this year. I have just been to busy worrying about my clients. So if you don't get one in the mail, SORRY!

4. Leelyn is putting words together....'more juice' 'i love you'- so cute!

5. Blaine on the other hand has really been testing me! Not sure if it is school or what but his behavior has been sassy, more then usual. I sent him to bed at 7pm the other night. UGH GRRRRRRRR!!!

Well I stopped taking my BC and I have lost 5 additional pounds, ha who would have guessed!?
