Nasty infectious bites!

This is what happens every single time Blaine gets bit by mosquitos:


The process is keep it covered with antibiotic oinment and a band aid...I can't risk another infection. He has had 8 band aids on at one time. Bug spray not working!




I met a girlfriend for dinner lastnight. I haven't seen her since middle school and we just recently reconnected through Facebook. She just happened to be here for business. It was a blast catching up. Kia, wish you were there with us, we missed having you!

I couldn't be there but I am so happy that my two BFF's Kia and Craig were able to celebrate together! My Godson Jace and his baby bro Cohen who I can't wait to see at the end of the month.

Dirty boys in the summer heat

I couldn't pass the opportunity to take a few candid shots of them. They helped trim trees, set up new deck furniture, hang lights, lay rocks and plant flowers today.

Random things

What a week! It has been nuts around here! First I have to start off with my dads second cataract surgery yesterday. Everything that could have gone wrong, DID! The cataract fell back into the retina, worse case scenario. They ended up having to put him under and called in a specialist to operate. I knew something wasn't right when 3:00 rolled around with no call from my step mom. Somehow I missed her call to my cell phone and when I got home from the gym there was a msg on my home phone from her. Talk about sending me into a panic, good lawd!

The pressure should be in the teens and his was 84 this morning. They had to 'burp' it three times and we are watching him closely. Poor daddy, I just wanna be there for him. Please keep him in your prayers. Those that think cataract surgery is a piece of cake....well not always!

Leelyn started running a fever last night and by this morning it reached 104. He has no symptoms other then teeth coming in and no appetite. All you moms know what that means, ughhhhhhhh lol

Blaine I have come to realize is allergic to mosquito's. He has several bites which I have resorted to covering with band aids because they get blistery and ooze puss, and the last thing I need is another staff infection. Keep those nails out of your mouth all you nail biters, LOL xoxo

Speaking of Blaine, he now has a tv, PlayStation and dvd player in his room....no cable though because I don't want him to have access to all of the tv stations so it's just games and movies for him. He thinks he is SO COOL now.
I never had a tv in my room, pfsh!

I had my fit point test the other day. I am down since April which is when I started with my trainer 15 pounds for a total of pounds lost since March is 30. 5% total body fat lost and I only have 20 pounds to go. I think I can I think I can, lol I am starting to see some muscle tone and I feel stronger everyday.

I have a friend coming in on Monday that I haven't seen since middle school and we just recently connected on Facebook. Her headquarters just happens to be here and she is flying in for the night on business....I will be meeting her for dinner and I am so excited. It will be nice to catch up after all of these years.

One of my BFF's Kia is coming in on July 31st. and I could just bust a seam with excitement. It is so nce to have friends come visit. Let the chaos begin, she has three adorable kiddos plus my two.....good times.

My photography business is pretty steady, love it! I have a serious addiction. LOL
