HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!

The picture is a picture of a picture my sister has and it is my favorite of her. Since she is the oldest, you know......

I wanted to celebrate her life today. She was of course a beutiful, caring, STRONG, awesome, caring, loving, supportive mom. I will never be the person she was. Really, I won't because I do not have her awesome yummy cooking gene. She would come home from work and spend 1.5 hrs in the kitchen preparing dinner for us every.single.night!
She was so contagious, everyone loved her. Her presence was known. She had a gentle touch, warm laugh and you just loved being around her. She loved fishing so much that she made my dad buy her a boat, and a big pontoon party barge boat at that just so they could escape for the weekends with all of their friends to fish ;-)

I miss my mom so much. Not a day goes by I don't think of her. I went a long time after her passing where I couldn't talk about her and didn't want to remember her because it hurt so bad to. I emotionally shut down for a long time. Somewhere between then and now I have come up for air, I can breathe and I know that she is here, she lives in me, around me and that is comforting.

So, HAPPY 56th BIRTHDAY MOMMY! I celebrate your life, your love and your memory.

Because I'm the mom!!!!

Oh but wait, I am the maid. The accountant. The chef (sometimes). The errand girl. The appointment setter. The shopper. The oil changer. The landscaper. The launder. Heck I am super mom Pictures, Images and Photos
my family tells me so.

No, I am not complaining, I chose this life. Complaining does no good, why be miserable, you control your attitude from the very moment your eyes open in the morning. If you choose to have a bad day, then you will. If you choose to have a good day, then you will.

Happiness comes within first. If you can't find it, seek professional help because there is no reason to make everyone around you miserable, right! Parenthood is hard but I love it. I love my kids so stinkin' much and even on those rare days when I want to pull my hair out, hide in a closet I still have 100% pure joy. If anything ever happened to my kids, the very thought of me complianing about them would haunt me forever. Sometimes this mere thought keeps me sane on my bad days. LOL

The point of this blog is I am a full time SAHM with my own business now. So I work 24/7 and then some. My toes are in bad need of some lovin', my hair has grown out about 4 inches of dark roots, I need to make several doctor visits for myself, I haven't styled my hair in weeks but that is okay! At the end of the day I feel more accomplished then I ever have. Now, where is the wine? Thanks Jenn you rock~xoxo

It's SOOOOOOO bad

that I want another baby, isn't it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just don't think it can happen ;-(

A prayer

Sometimes I look up to the heavens and ask God almighty to give me strength and patience.

I have to be honest, being a SAHM of two while trying to build the business of my dreams has been quite the task. I have dishes in my sink, laundry out the 'well you know' and enough dust to make Jesus sneeze ;-)

Blaine said today while eating at Blueberry Hill today "Mom, that fish is from the seven seas isn't he" as he pointed up on the wall at a fish they had hanging up. I LOVE that boy but boy since going to the gym he has picked up some interesting terms to say the least. It breaks my heart......
Leelyn sits under his (Blaines) chair at meal time, like a little puppy just waiting for food to hit the floor, SAD! LOL
Leelyn has also discovered clapping hands, LOVES peek a boo, still says "mama, dada, baba" and is now standing alone for a few seconds (Blaine was walking by 10.5 months, so I of course think there is something wrong)Blaine says every single morning to him "Good morning Mr. Mr. did you dream about us?"

Blaines wisdom amazes me daily. I finally got him into the school I put him on the waiting list for two years ago- WOOT WOOT! Just got that news ;-) which is a BIG load off of my chest! I was on top of it baby! Curb side pick up and drop off is what I LOVE ;-)

I never know the date, I hardly know the time and my hair is hardly ever done ;-) The Gourley outting today was The Cathedral Basilican (GO if you haven't) and lunch. I have more pics. give me time to DL. 19 days and counting until Tx. ;-)

I am SO excited!

Okay so we headed to the mall for lunch, I was craving Houlihans farm house sandwich (my fav give it a try). After lunch we needed to burn some calories (btw every person that saw Blaine loved his hair....go figure) We headed into Pottery Barn Kids and O.M.G Brian and I both were WOWED and wanted this:

Brain and I are die hard Dr. Suess fans! I truly believe the books are for adults! LOL
We are so going to do the kiddos bathroom in this! We did a frog theme from there for Blaine when he was in utero so it is time to redecorate! I want the bed set for my room, but they don't make it in King- DARN YOU POTTERY BARN!
