She's bootiful

As Blaine has grown so has his awareness and vocabulary naturally. I happened to have a very interesting conversation with him last night and I wanted to share as I found it to be super cute.

I told him we had MOPS today so we had to get up and get busy getting ready and that he was going to get to play with his church friends. The conversation went as follows:
ME: "Do you have a Jeremiah in your class?"
Blaine: "Yes"
ME: "Who else is in your class?"
Blaine: "BROOKE!" as he smiles and blushes
ME: "Oh ya? Who is Brooke?"
Blaine: "A girrrrrlllll" (you see he can't say girl and so it comes out more as a growl, LOL)
Me: "You like Brooke?"
Blaine: "YEA! She has hair like this (he takes his finger and does twirls on the top of his head)
ME: "She has curly hair oh ya?"
Blaine : "Shes bootiful and I am gonna marry her" LMBO He giggles

Lately he seems very interested in marriage and families. That boy he is so darn CUTE!

Girls nite out

Annaka, Karissa and myself finally got together for GNO! If you're a mom, you know how difficult it can be coordinating schedules, especially with busy husbands. I heart these girls, I know I will always have a great time with them, and we did. We met at one of my favorite STL restaurants, Houlihans. I will keep private our girly discussions but I will share a couple of end of the night shots....'How do YOU wear it?" (I am so getting me one of these!!!! ;-) luv ya girls!

Busy time of the year

I think this time of the year gets nuts for everyone. Between traveling, family visits, the holiday's, shopping, decorating, baking, parties no wonder I am exhausted! I have been very busy with photo shoots and I am very happy with the direction my soon to be business is heading. Brian is also very busy running his store and all 250 something employee's, the holiday's are crazy busy for Whole Foods. We took a trip to Illinois to visit with family and friends. We had a wonderful time as always. The kids had a great time, especially @ uncle Jacks who has every fun toy for big kids to! The kids had fun swimming, playing Wii, riding the Rhino, and playing with their cousins. Brian and I always enjoy the extra set of helping hands! We also got to meet our new niece, Lacey Nicole Gourley and she is a true bundle of joy we are calling ESKIMO! She looks just like a lil' Eskimo, precious!

Pack Light

Is there such a thing with two kids, seriously?! We are headed out for a weekend getaway tomorrow and I keep telling myself to pack as little as possible! It turns out little isn't happening. Don't forget......EVERYTHING! lol
