Pumpkin Patch

We visited out local pumpkin patch today. It was a beautiful cool day, bright yes, but cool.
The boys had a grand time. Leelyn enjoyed eating straw and Blaine once again was tormenting himself with the scary halloween decor they had up! The pumpkins were huge as always. I love this time of year!

My photography is taking off. October is jammed pack with shoots and I am not complaining. I need all the practice I can get! I will be doing a family photo shoot of five Saturday at the Butterfly Hhouse which is one of my favorite places to photo shoot right now.

Other exciting news is one of my BFF's is coming on the 24th and we can't wait! Blaine is super duper excited to see his uncle Craig as we all are. A busy time of year.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Today marks mine and Brian's 6 yr. anniversary. Even though we have been together 16 years technically ;-) Happy 16 babe!
I learned within the past few days that I am going to be a great aunt. I am so excited and I can't wait to experience this new journey the lord is taking our family on. I love you Chelsea and we support you 100%. We hope all is well with you and yours.

For the record

Leelyn is a BOY, not a GIRL! I know he is just so darn precious that EVERYONE thinks he is a girl but I promise, he isn't! ughhhh ;-)

A fascinating story

I just want to take a moment to share this beautiful, amazing, heart wrenching story. Brian came home the other day and was shaking literally. I asked him what was up and he told me the craziest story. Not often does this happen to people I know. He had a customer that walked up to one of his team members grabbing her throat, unable to speak. The TM assumed that she was choking and wasn't sure what to do, so walked her over to another TM, who I will call MD his initials. MD dropped everything and went right into action, grabbing this very tall lady, luckily he is over 6ft so that worked well because I think she is well over 5'9. He immediately began the Heimlich on her. Word is he pumped her 35 times at least. By this time, Brian has made his way over there. They ended up laying this lady on her side, stretched out to clear her airway when she began to finally gasp for air.

While MD was pumping her, she was completely blue, stiff and then he said that he felt her 'slip away' physically and emotionally. My eyes are just filled with tears as I type this. He told Brian that after they wheeled her out in the ambulance. She fell over @ that moment he said that she was 'leaving this world' and hit her head.

She lived. She is okay. Brian spoke with her today. MD saved this ladies life. Years back he was in the Navy and lost someone that was chocking, he couldn't save them, he tried. This lady is of strong catholic faith, and told Brian that she believed she left this world shortly, and now she has her guardian angel, her life saver.

I am touched by this story, deeply. They are meeting, the four of them (her DH) this week. Thank you Jesus.

Fun night/ fun weekend

Brian had both Saturday and Sunday off this weekend, woohoo! We managed to get a lot done inside and out. We also had a fun night out with friends - it was one of my gf's birthday. That was a fun night, I have never been to a Jap. Steakhouse - good entertainment. I had a photoshoot that went wrong in every single way. Her DC just did not want his picture taken what so ever, so I missed out taking Blaine to one of his friends bday parties pretty much for no reason (bummed) because I didn't get one shot where he wasn't screaming @ the top of his lungs. Anyhoo, here are some pics. from our night out with friends. I hope all is well with you and yours.
